If you’re unhappy with the appearance of your nose, rhinoplasty (also called a nose job) could be the solution. Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that can reshape, resize, or recontour the nose to improve its form and bring it into better balance with the rest of your facial features.

Some of the nasal irregularities rhinoplasty can address include:

  • Crooked or deviated nose
  • Dorsal hump nasal bridge of the nose
  • Wide, bulbous, or upturned nose
  • Wide or upturned nostrils
  • Indentation or asymmetry on the nasal tip

Rhinoplasty can make the nose smaller, larger, smoother, straighter, or more defined. It involves carefully sculpting the nasal bone, cartilage, and surrounding tissue through small incisions inside the nose or across the narrow strip of skin separating the nostrils. In many cases, rhinoplasty also improves nasal function and breathing.
