How Long Does RF Microneedling Last?

How Long Do RF Microneedling Results Last?

To enhance the longevity and effectiveness of your RF microneedling treatment, we recommend a series of 4-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. A series of treatments allows for optimal skin rejuvenation. After your initial treatments, most patients see results for 6-12 months before needing maintenance treatments.

What Results Can I Expect from RF Microneedling?

RF Microneedling treats various skin conditions, including fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scars, large pores, hyperpigmentation, cellulite, and sagging skin. You can expect brighter, younger-looking skin after the first four microneedling sessions.

How Long is Recovery from RF Microneedling?

No downtime is required for RF microneedling; however, you may experience redness and sensitivity for one to three days. We recommend applying medical-grade skin products during this time.

For the first 24 hours, we recommend only washing with tepid water. For the next three days, only use gentle cleansers with hydrating products. The microchannels in the skin allow hyaluronic acid and other beneficial ingredients to reach deeper layers of the skin.

Should I Get RF Microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling works on all skin types and tones. If you have an active skin condition, are pregnant, receiving chemotherapy, or are at a higher risk of developing keloid scars, we do not recommend receiving radiofrequency microneedling treatments.
