Collagen induction therapy, commonly known as microneedling, has various forms depending on your skin’s concerns and goals. While all treatments boost collagen production, various types of treatments may provide more dramatic results and target specific concerns. At West Michigan Plastic Surgery, one of the primary microneedling treatments we provide is RF microneedling with Morpheus8.
What is RF Microneedling?
RF Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment to enhance the natural effects of microneedling. The radiofrequency energy penetrates deeper into the skin for more dramatic collagen production. While improving the quality of your skin, the Morpheus8 also breaks apart fat in the subcutaneous layers for subtle contouring.
Skin concerns that RF microneedling treats include uneven skin texture, large pores, acne scars, skin laxity, fine lines and wrinkles, and stretch marks. You may receive treatment nearly anywhere on the body, such as the abdomen or thighs, but the most common treatment areas are the face and neck.
