Lipo 360 Kalamazoo

Liposuction is a popular surgical procedure that is used to reduce pockets of fat on the body. Many people want to get liposuction, but how many are actually candidates?

What is Lipo 360?

Lipo 360 is a type of liposuction surgery that can target and remove fat deposits from several areas of the body, contouring the body circumferentially. What makes Lipo 360 different from traditional liposuction methods is that it addresses multiple parts of the body (typically abdomen, waist, and back) to comprehensively sculpt the body. This 360-degree approach not only removes fat cells but also reshapes the remaining fat deposits on your body to give you a more contoured body shape.

Because Lipo 360 involves treating multiple areas of the body, the procedure will take longer than traditional liposuction sessions. Liposuction is often combined with other cosmetic procedures, including a tummy tuck, arm lift, or thigh lift.

Am I a Good Candidate for Lipo 360?

People who qualify for traditional liposuction procedures may also be suitable candidates for a more comprehensive surgical procedure like Lipo 360. Good candidates for Lipo 360 are at or near their ideal weight (within 30%) and have pockets of stubborn fat that they can’t seem to get rid of with diet and exercise alone.

Moreover, Lipo 360 is perfect for individuals who want to achieve their ideal shape, improve their self-confidence, and have realistic expectations about the procedure. However, it is important to remember that Lipo 360 is not a weight loss solution but a complementary treatment for their healthy lifestyle choices.

When Can I See Liposuction Results?

You may not be able to see results right away as swelling and inflammation are common after surgical procedures. The time required to see visible results will vary from patient to patient. Most people can begin to see results within a few weeks, though it may take several months for you enjoy your full results.

How Long Do Lipo 360 Results Last?

Lipo 360 results are long-lasting as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle. This means eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly. The Lipo 360 procedure removes the targeted fat cells, and these cells will not grow back. However, weight gain can cause the remaining fat cells in the area to expand, so it is important to maintain a stable weight for long-term results.

Is There Any Downtime with Liposuction?

There is minimal recovery with Lipo 360 compared to other, more invasive surgical procedure. You may experience some bruising, swelling, and soreness. After liposuction surgery, most people may take about one week off from work or their usual activities. Dr. Holley will inform you of your expected recovery time.

You will need to avoid strenuous activities while your body heals. You will be asked to wear a compression garment for a few weeks to help with the swelling and bruising. Because Lipo 360 treats many of areas of the body at the same time, you may need to take extra time to recover. Be sure to follow Dr. Holley’s post-lipo recommendations.
